Why not bring your mountain bike? You can cycle from the house itself for many miles through the forest mountain bike tracks, with Loch Doon being a pleasant nineteen miles away. You could then cycle back and finish a special day with a drink at the local pub, the Kings Arms, in the village just a five minute bike ride away!
